Kailey & Colt’s Engagement Session at Monument Rocks | A Love Story in the Making
Some sessions feel extra special, and this one was just that. I had the honor of photographing Kaileyanne & Colt’s engagement session at Monument Rocks, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. A 56 degree evening in January with no wind and a glowing sunset it was as if the weather was celebrating their love right alongside us.

Kaileyanne & Colt’s story began in Montana, where they met during college. From that first connection to where they are now, their love has grown into something so strong and beautiful. Watching them together, it’s clear how much they cherish one another. Their laughter comes easily, their smiles are effortless, and the way they look at each other says it all.

This session was particularly special for me because I’ve known Kaileyanne for almost my whole life. Our families go way back, my dad worked for her grandfather when we were younger, and we spent years together in 4-H. To now be the one capturing such an important milestone in her life is truly an honor.

As we wandered through the towering rock formations, the golden light casting the dreamiest glow, Kaileyanne & Colt made my job easy. They embraced every moment, from sweet, quiet exchanges to playful laughter, fully soaking in this season of engagement. The way they love each other is so natural and so evident, it’s the kind of love that makes photographing couples such a joy.

With their wedding coming up in May, I couldn’t be more excited to capture their big day. If this session was any indication, their wedding will be filled with just as much warmth, love, and joy. I cannot wait to see them officially start their journey as husband and wife!
